The six storey Hotel Delfin Azul was built in 1975 and underwent a complete refurbishment of its facilities during 2015, and now offers visitors to the island a total of 270 air conditioned guest rooms, with a selection of 243 double rooms and 27 singles.

All guest rooms at the hotel have their own bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, and come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, a mini-bar which is available on request, a safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with views over the resort.

A daily maid service is also provided to all rooms, which change towels as required and bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities at the Hotel Delfin Azul includes a 24-hour reception area which offers a currency exchange service, and for guests with late airport departures, both luggage and courtesy rooms are also available. Other communal facilities include a games room, along with public internet terminals, a self-service laundry and medical services are also available on request.

A buffet style restaurant offers guests a wide variety of freshly prepared traditional Spanish, international and vegetarians meals each day to suit all diets and tastes, with weekly thematic Gala dinners elaborated with products from the island, also a poolside snack bar offers an additional selection of soft drinks and sandwiches throughout the day.

A wide variety of both sporting and leisure facilities are available for all guests to enjoy at the hotel. This includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, which are then surrounded by spacious terraces and Mediterranean style gardens that are fully furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

Of special interest to families traveling with small children, the Hotel Delfin Azul also has a children's playground and mini club, along with both both pool and table tennis tables.

A seasonal programme of sporting activities is organised each day by the hotels' resident animation team, which typically features pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics.

Several times each week, evening entertainment is also planned, usually commencing with a children's mini disco which is followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows.
