Golf Alcanada, which is to the north of the Alcudia harbour area, is one of Mallorca's newest courses, and can claim to be a true 'links' course as it skirts the Mediterranean with great views of the Bay of Alcudia and the Island of Alcanada.

A par 72 course it measures 6,152 metres off the yellow tees. Green fees for the Summer of 2013 are are 124 euros for a round but if you contact Mallorca Golf Connection, they can reserve tee times for you and also get you a discount of around 10%

The cost of hiring a set of clubs is around 35 euros, and a buggy will cost you 40 euros.

The next closest golf course to Alcudia is Golf Pollensa, which is a 15 minute drive away. The courses of Canyamel, Capdepera, Pula Golf and Son Servera (9 hole) are down te coast and take around 40 minutes to get to by car.

You could also get a ferry from Alcudia to Menorca and play on their Son Parc course!
