Newspapers
You can get nearly all UK daily and Sunday newspapers in Alcudia and during the Summer months on the day of publication. You may have to wait until the following day for some papers in the Winter.
Even though many of the tabloids are printed in Spain these days, you will still have to pay 2,20 euros (about £1.55) for a Daily Mail as an example. Also, you do not get the colour supplements that come with most Sunday newspapers. There are two English language newspapers on the island. There is the Majorca Daily Bulletin which comes out every day except Monday, and the Euro Weekly News which comes out on a Thursday.
Radio
There is very little to be said about the choice of English-speaking radio on the island, because, unlike other areas of Spain, there isn't much! However, after not previously having a decent English-language radio station (the old Sunshine Capoital Radio was awful and run by, and preented by, amateurs) we have at long last got a slickly run station. You can catch it on 100.3FM.
Television
For sports fans there is an excellent choice of television coverage with most bars, hotels and apartment blocks offering the Sky satellite service. Spanish television also covers sport extensively, particularly at the weekends. English Premier league action can be seen live on Spanish TV on a Saturday afternoon. Many bars now have Sky Digital systems so you can keep up to date with the events in Albert Square - thats if you want to of course!
